Step 1 In The Architectural Design Process

When you first instruct us with your design brief and budget, our responsibility is to then transfer this information into shapes and sizes, which is called a sketch scheme. Once we have your approval of the scheme, we develop and amend the drawings based on your opinions and decisions, keeping you advised of any implications to any amendments made.

Step 2 In The Architectural Design Process

Once drawings are developed to a client's satisfaction, we then need to apply for planning permission to the relevant local authority. This type of application will depend on the proposed job, drawing and requirements.

Step 3 In The Architectural Design Process

Good, accurate drawings can convey most of the information about a proposed building to the builder. However, much of the information a builder requires cannot be shown graphically and must be described in writing. By tradition, the document prepared to convey such information is the specification.
