Emergency 24/7 Call Out Line 07960 898 702
Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) was identified in Britain's biggest and busiest airport. Due to height restrictions imposed by aircraft operations, crane-assisted removal was not feasible. An alternative methodology was therefore developed, requiring bespoke temporary works to enable the safe execution of the works while maintaining continued use of the lower levels of the buildings.
EAP designed a crash deck, independent scaffolding, and access arrangements to the lower storey, ensuring safe access and egress for personnel throughout the works.
